Greg Murray

Greg Murray was awarded the Van Cliburn scholarship for study at Texas Christian University in 1990 and became a private student of 1985 Cliburn gold medalist Jose Feghali. In 1992 he made his TV debut on a PBS episode of “Barney and Friends”, teaching children about music. It still airs internationally. Greg studied orchestral conducting with Grammy Award-winner and Minnesota Symphony Orchestra music director Henry Charles Smith. Greg now serves as director of music and liturgy for the Church of St. Patrick in Sarasota, where he resides with his nine-year old daughter.
