Joyful Ringers

The Joyful Ringers, as part of the North Port Chorale, on occasion perform at Chorale concerts. The group rings a variety of music – from show tunes, classical, and sacred, to folk tunes and spirituals. The Joyful Ringers are available to perform concerts and programs throughout the community. Mary Thoroman, Joyful Ringers Director

Mary Thoroman, originally from Collinsville, IL, formed and directed childrens’ handbell choirs at St. John’s Evangelical United Church of Christ in Collinsville, and played in and directed the adult handbell choirs. She has attended directors’ workshops and participated in national festivals in Missouri, Kansas and Florida, and has organized workshops for children wanting to learn the art of ringing.
